Product Overview: Maximum Clamping for Cabinetry & Woodworking
The Pan Head Chipboard Screw is a hardened, self-tapping wood screw designed for gripping porous materials like particle board, MDF, and natural softwoods. Unlike countersunk screws that sit flush, the Pan Head (GEO-Geometry) sits proud on the surface, utilizing its flat underside to exert high axial clamping pressure without splitting the wood.
Often referred to as the “Particle Board Screw,” it features a slim shank and deep, sharp threads that cut cleanly into the material fiber, ensuring a secure hold even in low-density boards.

Engineering Insight: Why Pan Head?
Choose a Pan Head Chipboard Screw when:
- Thin Materials: You are fastening a thin piece of metal or plastic (like a bracket or runner) to wood. The flat head acts like a built-in washer.
- Pull-Through Resistance: You need to prevent the screw head from pulling through the top layer of a soft material.
Origin Advantage & Packaging
Handan Factory Direct: We produce millions of chipboard screws daily on high-speed thread rolling machines. Our heat treatment line ensures the core is tough while the surface is hard enough to cut wood fibers.
Small Box Packaging?
We specialize in “Window Boxes” (e.g., 200pcs/box) for retail hardware stores. Private label available.
