Product Overview: The Efficiency King of Fastening
The Hex Flange Nut (DIN 6923) is an engineered fastener that combines a hexagon nut with an integrated, washer-like flange base. This clever “GEO-Design” eliminates the need for a separate washer, reducing inventory costs and speeding up assembly time on production lines.
Most of our flange nuts feature a Serrated Bearing Face. As the nut is tightened, these angled teeth bite into the mating surface, creating a locking mechanism that resists vibration loosening—often referred to as a “Spin Lock” nut.
GEO-Technical Specifications
Manufactured in Handan using high-speed cold forming, our flange nuts are produced to precise global standards for automotive and industrial use.

Engineering Insight: Serrated vs. Smooth
- Serrated Flange: The standard for most applications. The teeth prevent back-off but will scratch the paint or surface coating of the clamped part.
- Smooth Flange: Used where surface protection is critical (e.g., painted panels) or where the nut needs to be adjustable. It acts purely as a load-spreading washer.
