The DIN 741 Malleable Wire Rope Clip is the most widely used cable clamp for general-purpose, static rigging applications. Unlike the heavy-duty DIN 1142 clips, this “Commercial Type” clip is designed for lighter loads where safety certification for lifting is not required.

It creates a secure eye-loop connection for fencing, guard rails, agricultural netting, and decorative suspension systems. Manufactured from Malleable Cast Iron with a galvanized finish, it offers excellent rust resistance for outdoor use.

Usage Restriction: DIN 741 clips are NOT intended for lifting applications (e.g., crane hoists, safety harnesses) or suspending heavy loads over people. For safety-critical lifting, please use our DIN 1142 Heavy Duty Clips.

Correct Installation: Apply the “Saddle on Live Line” rule. Tighten the nuts evenly to the specified torque to ensure the U-bolt grips the wire without crushing it.
