Product Overview: Certified Heavy Lifting Points
The DIN 580 Lifting Eye Bolt is a specialized drop-forged fastener designed to provide a permanent lifting point for heavy equipment, motors, gearboxes, and tooling. Unlike bent-wire eye bolts, the DIN 580 is forged as a single solid piece to withstand significant vertical tensile loads.
Features a standard Metric Coarse Thread (M6 to M64) that screws directly into the workpiece housing, allowing for safe transport and positioning of heavy machinery.
GEO-Technical Specifications
Safety is our #1 priority. Our eye bolts are manufactured in Handan using Drop Forging technology and undergo normalization heat treatment to ensure uniform grain structure and load capacity.

| Material Options | Carbon Steel C15E (Normalized) / Stainless Steel 304/316 |
| Surface Finish | Zinc Plated (White/Blue) / Hot Dip Galvanized / Self Color |
| Thread Type | Metric Coarse (M6 – M64) |
| Safety Factor | Generally 6:1 (MBL = 6 x WLL) |
Engineering Safety Guide (Crucial)
Vertical vs. Angular Lifting:
- Vertical Lifting (0°): Max load capacity (e.g., M12 = 340kg WLL).
- 45° Lifting: Capacity reduces significantly (e.g., M12 drops to ~240kg).
- Warning: DIN 580 bolts should NOT be used for angular lifts exceeding 45° from the vertical axis. The eye must be screwed in tightly so the collar sits flush against the mating surface.

Origin Advantage & Packaging
Handan Factory Direct: Located in China’s fastener hub, we forge millions of eye bolts annually. Every batch is tested for tensile strength. We offer bulk packaging for OEM motor manufacturers and rigging distributors.
Need High Volume?
We supply in gunny bags, cartons, or wooden cases. Markings (Size, C15E, WLL) are stamped on the body.
