Product Overview: Secure Lifting for Heavy Equipment
The DIN 582 Lifting Eye Nut is a drop-forged ring nut designed to be screwed onto threaded studs, bolts, or machine components to create a certified lifting point. Unlike standard nuts, the DIN 582 is engineered with a specific grain structure to withstand heavy vertical loads during transport and assembly.
Ideally suited for lifting motors, gearboxes, electrical cabinets, and heavy tooling where a male stud is already present.
GEO-Technical Specifications
Manufactured in Handan using precision Drop Forging and Normalization heat treatment, our eye nuts meet strictly defined Working Load Limits (WLL).
| Technical Parameter | Specification Data |
|---|---|
| Standard | DIN 582 / ISO 3266 (Lifting Eye Nut) |
| Material | Carbon Steel C15E (Normalized) / Stainless Steel 304/316 |
| Thread Type | Metric Coarse Thread (M6 – M64) |
| Surface Finish | Zinc Plated (White/Blue) / Hot Dip Galvanized / Self Color |
| Markings | Size (e.g., M16), Material (C15E), WLL, CE Mark |
Engineering Safety Guidelines
Crucial Safety Check: Before lifting, ensure the eye nut is fully screwed down so that the bearing face (collar) sits completely flat against the mating surface. Partial engagement can lead to thread stripping and catastrophic failure.
Load Capacity (WLL):
- Straight Lift (0°): 100% WLL capacity.
- 45° Lift: Capacity is significantly reduced (refer to DIN load tables).
- Side Pull (90°): NOT RECOMMENDED for standard DIN 582 nuts.
Origin Advantage & Packaging
Handan Factory Direct: As a major rigging hardware manufacturer in Handan, China, we produce and test millions of eye nuts annually. We can provide Mill Test Certificates (MTC) showing chemical composition and tensile strength for every batch.
