What is a J-Bolt?
As the name suggests, a J-Bolt is a threaded rod bent into the shape of the letter “J”. It falls under the category of Anchor Bolts (Read more on Wikipedia). The non-threaded curved end is designed to hook around materials (like steel rebars or roofing beams), while the threaded end accepts a nut and washer to clamp the structure down securely.
Types and Applications

1. Roofing J-Bolts (Hook Bolts)
These are essential in the construction of steel structure buildings. They are used to fasten corrugated asbestos or metal roofing sheets to steel purlins.

- Stainless Steel (304/316): Available upon request for food processing plants or marine applications.
